About Us
Located in Northern NJ, Della Terra Catering’s objective is to support our local farmers by designing menus that begin with natural sustainable food. Our produce is sourced locally whenever possible, which is quite often. We owe this to our chef/owner’s husband, a local farmer. His family farm, Richfield Farms, is a 100 year old 5-acre organic farm located in Clifton, NJ. Through Richfield Farms and its local farm affiliates, Della Terra is able to source the highest quality produce around.
In addition to produce, our meat and poultry are descendant of small sustainable farms located throughout North America. These farms practice “never-ever” programs which guarantee their animals have lived an anti-biotic and hormone-free life. While sustainable seafood remains a problem in our time, Della Terra is committed to providing our clients with fresh quality seafood always.
Custom menus enable us to be creative while giving our clients the individual attention they need and deserve no matter their budget. We take pride in this and strive to please our clients each step of the way.

JoAnne Morton
Chef/Owner, Della Terra Catering
JoAnne Morton works very closely with all her clients to create their image of an ideal menu. Custom menus allow her creativity to remain strong and is what keeps her clients coming back. Her culinary imagination is endless and she truly interprets her craft as a labor of love. Food history, sustainable agriculture and supporting local farmers & industry are all very important to her.
Since graduating from the French Culinary Institute in New York City and she has worked at such fine city dining establishments as Kittichai, Mario Batali's ‘Babbo’, and Trump Grill. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and graduated with honors from Ramapo College of New Jersey. Before starting Della Terra Catering, JoAnne owned and operated Pane ed Acqua Bakery & Catering, where she gained a strong grounding in the metro area’s boutique catering arena. Her work has been featured in The Record, The Clifton Journal, and on Eyewitness News.
Her kitchen crew is a highly trained array of industry professionals that have worked with her throughout her culinary career.
Lisa Prince
Event Planner, Della Terra Catering
Lisa Prince works directly with clients to ascertain objectives/goals, then creates a detailed plan to achieve those objectives. Through Ms. Prince's diverse experiences and skill sets, Della Terra is able to deliver highly creative concepts, manage large-scale budgets, identify and negotiate with vendors associated with an endless range of events, and seamlessly execute client objectives.
With a degree in Management from Wharton, a Masters in International Management from Thunderbird, as well as 3 years on Wall Street, Ms. Prince combines a unique blend of business experience, savvy, and corporate sophistication with a stylistic awareness she gained growing up in New York.
In addition to doing numerous special occasion events such as weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, anniversary and dinner parties, some of the clients Lisa has worked with include: Tanqueray, the Arthur Ashe Institute for Urban Health Sports Ball, Chairman & CEO of Island Def Jam Music Group LA Reid, former boxing heavyweight champion Mike Tyson and DJ Jazzy Jeff.
